Project (“SOAP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About The S.O.A.P. Project

The S.O.A.P. Project, which stands for Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing human trafficking through education, outreach, advocacy, survivor support, and community involvement.

The information and resources offered through our website and services are intended to support our charitable and educational mission.

2. Eligibility and Authorized Use

You may use our website and services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

You must be at least 13 years old to submit personal information through the website, connect a social media account, or use an interactive service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use interactive features only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Social media publishing and account-management features are intended only for authorized SOAP employees, representatives, contractors, volunteers, or service providers.

3. Educational Information and Emergencies

Information provided through our website, social media accounts, educational materials, events, and outreach programs is provided for general educational and awareness purposes.

Our website is not an emergency-response service, law-enforcement service, medical service, legal service, counseling service, or substitute for professional assistance.

4. Social Media Integrations and Automated Posting

SOAP may use software and third-party platform integrations to create, upload, schedule, manage, and publish content to social media accounts owned or controlled by SOAP. These integrations may include TikTok and other social media platforms.

When you connect or authorize a social media account on behalf of SOAP, you represent and warrant that:

• You are authorized to access and manage the connected account.
• You have permission to grant the requested account permissions.
• You will use the integration only for legitimate organizational purposes.
• SOAP owns or has permission to publish the submitted content.
• Your use complies with the platform’s terms, policies, and community guidelines.

Depending on the permissions granted, an integration may be able to access basic account information, upload content, save drafts, publish content, schedule content, retrieve publishing status, and maintain an authorized account connection.

We will use these permissions only to provide authorized account-management and content-publishing functionality.

You may revoke an integration through the connected platform’s account settings or by contacting SOAP. Revoking authorization may prevent future automated posts, but it may not remove content that was already published.

Social media platforms are independently operated. SOAP does not guarantee that an integration will always remain available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with a platform’s current requirements.

5. Accounts, Forms, and Submitted Information

Certain areas of the website may allow you to submit information, register for an event, volunteer, request information, make a donation, purchase an item, subscribe to communications, or contact our organization.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate another person or submit information without proper authorization.

You are responsible for protecting any login credentials, authorization codes, connected accounts, or devices used with our services. Please notify us promptly if you believe an account or integration has been accessed without authorization.

6. Donations

Donations made through our website are voluntary and are used to support SOAP’s charitable mission, programs, outreach, education, survivor support, and operating activities.

Donation payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Those providers may maintain their own terms and privacy practices.

Unless otherwise required by law, donations are generally nonrefundable. Requests involving an accidental, duplicate, or unauthorized donation will be reviewed individually.

Statements regarding the tax deductibility of a donation are subject to applicable law. Donors should consult their own tax advisers regarding their individual circumstances.

7. Purchases and Event Registrations

Products, tickets, event registrations, and other items offered through the website may be subject to additional descriptions, availability requirements, shipping terms, refund rules, or event-specific conditions presented at the time of purchase.

SOAP may cancel or limit an order when an item is unavailable, incorrectly priced, suspected of fraud, or otherwise cannot be fulfilled.

Event schedules, locations, speakers, and programming may change. Available refunds or credits will be determined according to the terms presented for the applicable event.

When you provide contact information, you may receive communications related to donations, registrations, volunteer activities, outreach opportunities, organizational updates, or services you requested.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message. SOAP may continue sending necessary transactional, donation-related, security, or administrative communications.

9. User Submissions

You may have opportunities to submit photographs, videos, testimonials, stories, artwork, comments, documents, messages, or other materials to SOAP.

You retain ownership of materials you submit. However, when you knowingly submit materials for publication, promotion, education, outreach, fundraising, or social media use, you grant SOAP a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, edit, format, and publish those materials for the purpose for which they were submitted.

You represent that:

• You own the submitted material or have permission to submit it.
• The material does not violate another person’s rights.
• People appearing in the material have provided any required permission.
• The material does not contain unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or malicious content.

Because SOAP’s work may involve sensitive information concerning human trafficking and survivors, you must not submit identifying information, images, stories, or personal details about a victim or survivor unless you have clear legal authority and informed permission to do so.

SOAP is not required to publish or continue displaying any submission.

10. Intellectual Property

The website and its content, including text, designs, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, educational resources, publications, program names, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to SOAP and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The SOAP name, logos, and related marks may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, chapter status, or affiliation without prior written permission.

You may view and share publicly available website content for personal, educational, and noncommercial purposes, provided that you do not materially alter it, remove attribution, or falsely imply endorsement or affiliation.

11. Prohibited Conduct

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. SOAP does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Copyright Complaints

If you believe material available through our website infringes your copyright, contact SOAP and provide your contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized, a statement that the information is accurate, and your physical or electronic signature.

SOAP may remove or restrict access to material while a complaint is reviewed.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, content, integrations, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

SOAP does not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free, that social media content will be published at a particular time, that a third-party platform will approve or display submitted content, or that all website information will always be complete or current.
